NEET is one of the toughest entrance exams in India & students try to give their best to crack it. But, during their preparation journey, some students lost their motivation which makes them lose in the exam. NEET exam asked for, Hard work, consistency, and maintaining regularity on a daily basis. Students watch motivational videos on the internet/YouTube, but as always, they will only give you motivation at that moment, because ‘True motivation comes from inside. Self-belief and self-confidence are the must thing to achieve any goal in life also to crack any competitive exam.
Some tips & guidance are always a need of an aspirant. Let’s see what they are:-
- Imagine yourself in a white coat and stethoscope
Just imagine yourself wearing a white apron, having a stethoscope around the neck, going to the hospital, and helping or treating patients.
How does it feel? I am pretty sure, it feels really great.
- Imagine having a prefix Dr.–
Imagine yourself having a prefix Dr. Before your name. People call you ‘Doctor Sahab’.
How does it sound? Again, I am sure, you will goosebumps by just hearing the word ‘Doctor’
- Power of Self – Motivation
No one can’t motivate us unless we make up our minds about something. Your competition is not with other aspirants, but with your mind. You have to excel in your own performance in tests. Neither get demotivated by bad marks nor become overconfident.
- Try to Improve Yourself
It’s important to improve our habits of not ‘Giving Up’. Students get easily demotivated just by seeing their Mock Tests & PYQs score. Mocks are just for practicing questions. Just try to improve your tests score & Analyze your test. Make a note of the silly mistakes you are making. Your objective is not to repeat the same mistakes in the next exam. By this process, you will have a strong grip and understanding of all concepts and the way of solving problems.
- Build Interest in Subjects
The most important thing in NEET preparation is ‘Building good interest in subjects’. Students give all their interest in Biology & Chemistry and neglect Physics. Which is the reason for scoring low marks. Try to give equal attention and equal time to each subject.
- Keep Remembering your goals
Always keep in mind that, ‘What are your goals? Why you are doing this? If forget Write them down and paste them above your study table or any other place where you can see them regularly. It can be like “I want to crack NEET with a very good rank and will study in a top medical college.”
- Share your thoughts with Parents & Friends when feeling demotivated
Parents and Friends are always there for our help. They should be your go-to people for motivation. Parents understand you the best. Secondly, Good teachers are always available to guide and motivate you in the right direction. You just need to talk with them. You will be motivated from the inside out.

Finally, don’t think about the result for now. Focus on the effort. Nothing feels better than trying your best. When it gets tough, turn around and look how far you’ve already come. This is the best motivation for NEET.
