NEET 2022 Cutoff: The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test or NEET 2022 cutoff will be divided into two categories: NEET qualifying cutoff and admission cutoff. The minimum score needed to pass the entrance exam is known as the NEET qualifying cutoff. In contrast, the NEET 2022 admission cutoff is the last rank at which admission is offered. The NEET qualifying cutoff scores for 2022 will be released along with the results by NTA at neet.nta.nic.in. Previously, NEET cutoff passing marks for the general category were 720-138, while for SC/ST/OBC it was 137-108.

All medical colleges accepting NEET Scores will grant admission based on the NEET 2022 admission cutoff. The state-wise NEET 2022 cutoff for government and private colleges will be released by the state competent authority.

Based on the NEET Exam, admission will be granted to 91,415 MBBS,  27,948 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 487 BSc Nursing, and 603 BVSc seats, as well as 1205 AIIMS MBBS and 200 JIPMER MBBS seats in 15 AIIMS and 2 JIPMER institutes.

How to Calculate NEET Scores:

According to the marking scheme, each correct answer will receive four points, while each incorrect answer will receive one point. Candidates should refer to the NEET answer key 2021 to count all correct and incorrect answers and calculate their overall marks according to the marking scheme. Here are the steps for calculating expected scores.

  • Download the NEET answer key for a specific question paper code.
  • Determine the correct and incorrect number of responses.
