What is the Structure of Language Section I and the finest and Quality book for practising?

CUET Language Section – When National Testing Agency (NTA) announced the biggest news for all UG Aspirants, before taking admitted to any University or College, each individual student has to attempt a Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate students named “Central Universities Entrance Test” (CUET-UG), which is mandatory for every CUET UG aspirants.

CUET UG 2022 will be conducted in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Gujarati, Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The test is likely to be conducted in the first week of July over multiple days. 

The Structure of Language Section – I

Section I-A and I-B

Section I-A consists of 13 different languages including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi, and Urdu. Candidates have to appear in any of these languages. CUET UG aspirants have to choose 2 languages from this section.

Section I-B consists of 19 languages, including French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, and Chinese. That means, any other language apart from those offered in Section I-A may be chosen in Section I-B.

CUET-UG will be a computer-based, objective-type test. The exam is strictly based on “The class 12th NCERT syllabus”. Before starting practising for the language paper, make sure the candidate must be done with their 12th class syllabus properly with revision.
